DAL CHANA RECIPE



DAL CHANA


1: split chickpeas 250g (washed & soaked over night)
 2: spinach 2 bunch (finely chopped only leaves)
 3: salt 1ts
 4: red chilli powder 1ts
 5: turmeric 1/2ts
  6: onion 1 large (finely sliced)
 7: tomatoes 2 large (finely sliced)
 8: bullet green chilli 3 (sliced)
 9: garlic 1ts
 10: garam masala powder 1/2ts
 11: crushed red chilli 1/2ts
 12: ghee 1/2 cup or oil

HOW TO COOK

1: in a pan add chickpeas, spinach, salt, red chilli, turmeric, water 5 cups, wait for a boil on high flame then lower the  flame to medium cover and cook till the chickpeas are tender.
 2: in a pan heat ghee add onion and fry till gets golden on high flame.
 3: then add tomatoes, crushed red chilli, garam masala, garlic cook on low to medium flame till the tomatoes are  softened & ghee comes on surface.
 4: now add green chilli mix and add this to the cooked chickpeas mix well, cover and simmer on low flame for 2  minutes.
 5: serve hot with naan or roti.
